Howell, N.J. (Aug. 1, 2016) – MedExpress announces the opening of its newest New Jersey neighborhood medical center on Aug. 3 in Howell at 4074 U.S. Highway 9 in Howell Plaza. As a welcoming gift to the community, the new Howell center is offering free sports physicals to patients ages 5-years-old and up from Aug. 3 -17.
MedExpress is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to offer patients a convenient option for timely health care needs. The new center will offer urgent care, basic wellness and prevention and employer health services to help keep local families and employees healthy. MedExpress offers walk-in treatment for everyday illness and injury, including more advanced offerings such as X-rays, IVs, labs, minor surgery, stitches and treatment for sprains, strains and broken bones. MedExpress wellness services include sports physicals, routine physicals, immunizations and tobacco cessation counseling. Local businesses can use MedExpress for workers’ compensation and injury care, pre-employment screenings and physicals and urgent care services.

MedExpress will hold a ribbon-cutting celebration and open house for the new Howell center on Tues., Aug. 2 from noon to 2 p.m. The event will include tours, interviews and photo opportunities with MedExpress medical staff. The open house event is open to the public.
