Asbury Park Press October 2013 — One day, Mike and Dave Manzo, Wall residents who own the Atlantic Physical Therapy Center, met a 16-year-old boy who fractured a couple of vertebrae after diving into the ocean and had to be put into a halo brace, which covers the skull down to the pelvis. He was stuck in a wheelchair and not active, and after experiencing a major growth spurt, his entire body became tight and he could not stand up or walk.

“I started tinkering at a young age,” recalls Chris Rossi, co-owner of the soon-to-debut CPR Cell Phone Repair. He was only 11 when he figured out how to fix his own Nintendo Entertainment System by resoldering the power adapter. “I always liked taking things apart and figuring out how to make them work again.”

“We treat the people we see just like they were pro-athletes,” says Mike Manzo, MPT, and owner of >Atlantic Physical Therapy Center, the official physical therapy group for the Lakewood Blue Claws. But even with their frequent treatment of athletes, Mike and his brother — co-owner Dave Manzo — know that getting a grandmother back on her feet to walk up the steps to visit her grandchildren is the World Series in her eyes.

Howell Patch September 2012 — A 900-foot stretched across the length of the Howell Plaza on Friday morning as one of the largest shopping centers in Howell celebrated a grand reopening of one of its largest tenants.

Inside, washers and dryers line the wall, and the space is filled with the slight hum of the machines. This is the life that Pardun has grown into after months of struggle.
